Abstract

Finding a true "calling" in life is one of the many things that Christians struggle with while they are here on Earth. By building and implementing a comprehensive system that will help college students discover, understand, and develop their spiritual gifts, educators will help students cultivate their unique assignments in the Body of Christ. By guiding students into a true understanding of spiritual gifts, and discovering which ones the Lord has entrusted to them, Christian college students will be able to have a foundation for a life of meaningful ministry. This thesis focuses on understanding and synthesizing current research on spiritual gifts into an actionable ministry plan that can be utilized on a college campus filled with Generation Y students. This research is designed to help college administrators, professors, and Christian leaders/teachers that frequently interact with Generation Y.
