Abstract
There is a reason why God inspired the apostle Paul to emphasize the church and Christ relationship to that of a husband and wife relationship. Although, it may not be possible to uncover all the details of this mystery, this thesis will discuss some of the theories and conclusions that can be gleaned from this relationship. This research will examine the Christ and Church relationship, draw conclusions about how this should impact marriages, and posit better ways to communicate this agape love within the relativity of this paradigm.
